The Siya crew has been led to believe that there is a possibility Soumahoro Bangaly will be back on the pitch in the new year.
The big Ivorian has been doing well in training with Matsatsantsa and there is a possibility that the club could give him a chance to ressurect his career after his difficult spell with Sundowns.
He has been with Matsatsantsa for more than a month, working hard to try convince the technical team that he deserves a deal.
SuperSport, who announced the signing of Kegan Johannes and Putco Khoza on Friday afternoon, have built a squad with a number of young players and a player like Bangaly would bring some experience, having won the CAF Champions League, Super Cup, as well as the Premiership title in his five years at Sundowns.
At 30, Bangaly would help provide leadership to some of the up and coming young players in Kaitano Tembo's SuperSport squad.
Should SuperSport decide to acquire the services of the Ivorian player, they will be able to register him during the January transfer window, with the deal likely to be short-term one.
