SSU’s Promising Prospect Tracked By Three Clubs
SuperSport United defender, Denwin Farmer, is in demand as several PSL clubs look to try and bring him in on loan in the January transfer window.
The talented 21-year-old centre back doesn’t seem to be getting past the likes of Morgan Gould, Clayton Daniels and Tefu Mashamaite in the heart of Eric Tinkler’s defence this season, and it appears that the club are willing to let him leave in order to gain experience elsewhere.
Farmer, who has played almost 30 games at senior level, has impressed when given the opportunity, although injuries have played a part in him being unable to break into the SuperSport XI.
Now fully fit, the Siya crew have been informed that the likes of Platinum Stars, Cape Town City and Ajax Cape Town have all shown an interest in trying to land his signature on loan until the end of the season.
The crew is also led to believe that SuperSport are open to the idea of letting him go on loan, but will not be considering selling him due to the fact that they see him as a big prospect for the future of their club.
Stars, City and Ajax have all struggled defensively this season, and it appears that Roger de Sa, Benni McCarthy and Stanley Menzo all see Farmer as a way of trying to fix their problems in the new year.
