Star Attacker Leaving Matsatsantsa?
SuperSport United Likely To Part Ways With Star
SuperSport United might be on the verge of parting ways with one of their star players, according to sources.
The Siya crew has been reliably informed that the Tshwane outfit could be on the verge of parting ways with Dove Wome. The Togolese international, whose contract with Matsatsantsa is set to expire in June this year, is likely to be allowed to leave in the current transfer window.
The 26-year-old attacker has struggled for game-time at the club, featuring in only two league games under Eric Tinkler during the first half of the season. Wome was left out of the 18-man matchday squad for the team’s opening match of 2018, which was against Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday.
According to sources, discussions are currently underway for the player’s possible release from the club. As reported by the Siya crew, the former Orlando Pirates loanee was previously linked with Ajax Cape Town, Cape Town City and Bidvest Wits, among other PSL clubs.
The Siya crew will keep you updated regarding future of Wome during the 2017/18 season.
