Ghanaian Striker Arrives At SuperSport
SuperSport United Are Taking A Look At Kofi Nti Boakye
SuperSport United’s search for a new striker is ongoing, with the Siya crew being informed that Ghanaian forward, Kofi Nti Boakye, has arrived to train with the club.
Boakye, who is 30, has played in Egypt, Libya, Lebanon and Nigeria since leaving his home country, and he is now trying his look in South Africa as he looks to persuade Eric Tinkler that he is deserving of a contract.
Matsatsantsa are desperate to find a replacement for Jeremy Brockie after they sold the New Zealander to Mamelodi Sundowns, a search that has led them to bring in Kevin Schindler on trial.
It remains to be seen whether the Ghanaian, who is the younger brother of former Black Star, Isaac Boakye, has done enough to impress Tinkler and his technical team, but the head coach will be looking to bring in a striker as soon as possible.
SuperSport take on Bidvest Wits this weekend as they look to pick up another three points in what has been a torrid run of form for the CAF Confederation Cup finalists.
