There was originally talk that the Botswana international could be involved in the Jeremy Brockie deal as the New Zealander made the move to Masandawana, however, the deal went through on a straight cash basis after different terms were agreed.
Now, though, according to Siya sources, the two clubs are in negotiations once again about Ngele, with SuperSport eyeing a loan until the end of the 2017/18 season.
The 27-year-old now has permanent residence in South Africa having played here since 2012, and would therefore not take up one of Eric Tinkler’s foreign spots in the Absa Premiership.
It remains to be seen whether a move will be finalised before the transfer window slams shut next week, but with just one appearance to his name this season, Ngele would no doubt leap at the chance to go elsewhere in the league for more game time.
The Siya crew will continue to keep an eye on Ngele’s situation as SuperSport look to try and get the deal over the line as soon as possible.
