SuperSport Linked With Bid For Amakhosi Defender
SuperSport United had a relatively quiet transfer window last time out, but there are suggestions that they could go after a Kaizer Chiefs defender when the January one opens up.
Matsatsantsa have had a relatively good start to their 2018/19 campaign as they reached the final of the MTN8 and won three of their opening five matches, but it appears that the club is eager to continue to plan for the future.
As reported in this week’s issue of Soccer Laduma, Kgotso Moleko is thought to be one of the players that they have earmarked as a potential transfer target, with the full back having failed to secure a regular place in the Amakhosi starting line-up since joining the club.
The former Bloemfontein Celtic man has played just 38 games in over six seasons with the Glamour Boys since making the switch from the Free State back in 2012, and may well be be open to a move elsewhere, however he was handed a starting spot earlier in the week as Chiefs beat Free State Stars 2-0.
The crew will monitor Moleko’s situation to see if a move away from Chiefs could materialise for him or not, although he does still have one year left to run on his Amakhosi contract.
