Reported Chiefs Target Arrives At SuperSport
SuperSport United are continuing to look for options to bolster their squad amid a run of form that has seen them slip down the table into 13th in the Absa Premiership table.
The Siya crew have been informed that both Christian Epoupa Ntouba from Cameroon, and Mbombela United attacker, Thapelo More, both started trials at the club recently as Eric Tinkler takes a look at them.
Ntouba, who recently spent some time with Bidvest Wits training, is currently on the books of Dynamos in Zimbabwe, where the 24-year-old has impressed with his goalscoring prowess and attracted interest from elsewhere.
Reports in Zimbabwe had suggested that Kaizer Chiefs, alongside the likes of Polokwane City, Ajax Cape Town and Orlando Pirates were also interested, but the ball now seems to be in Tinkler’s court regarding his future.
Meanwhile, More is currently with the club from Mbombela with regards to a possible precontract. The 24-year-old has five months left on his contract with his current club and will be hoping to persuade the Matsatsantsa technical team that he is worthy of a deal in Tshwane.
