News reaching the Siya crew is that Mamelodi Sundowns have released one of their foreign defenders.
Siya sources have indicated that full-back Fares Hachi has been released from his contract, although it has not been confirmed yet.
It has been indicated that the 28-year-old has one year remaining on his contract, and after spending last season on loan at Chippa United, it is believed he is no longer part of Sundowns' plans.
The Absa Premiership champions recently brought in the likes of Toni Silva and Jose Ali Meza, extending the number of foreign players on their books.
During the 2017-18 campaign, Hachi made a total of nine appearances in the Absa Premiership, with five of the matches coming for Sundowns.
