Former Free State Stars striker, Lucky Mokoena, is in search of a club in the National First Division.
Mokoena has failed to secure a deal in the PSL, since parting ways with Ea Lla Koto in 2015. The Bethal-born forward had a stint with African Warriors, after leaving Stars.
The 28-year-old, who is currently a free agent, has surfaced at Richards Bay FC for a trial with the team.
“Lucky Mokoena is at Richards Bay FC for training with the team. He is a free agent,” said the source.
The KZN outfit recently appointed Belgian coach Jean Luscuito to try and change their fortunes in the NFD. The KZN team is 15th on the standings with just one win from 12 games. Luscuito is keen on strengthening the team with more players in a bid to move the team up the log.
