New players are joining Black Leopards in their numbers, with the newly promoted club bolstering their side by completing the signing of a defender.
Former Bidvest Wits and Chippa United defender Pentjie Zulu is the latest signing for Leopards after the player has been added to Lidoda Duvha’s roster for their left-back position.
The 28-year-old impressed Leopards’ coach Joel Masutha in training, after a short trial with the team. Zulu finished last season with Highlands Park, having joined the club in January from a stint with Mthatha Bucks.
Furthermore, Leopards have been linked with experienced defender Ayanda Gcaba, who is a free agent after leaving Orlando Pirates, and former Polokwane City defender Thabiso Semenya among others, with the team showing interest in the two players by inviting them to their training.
The likes of former SuperSport United forward, Dove Wome and former Kaizer Chiefs striker, Kingston Nkhatha have also been linked to the Limpopo club.
Since Leopards’ promotion from the NFD to the PSL, the club has signed Elton Kapinga, Themba Ndlovu, Khethukuthula Zwane, Lefa Hlongwane and Chris Matombo.
