No Deal For Senegalese Defender At PSL Outfit
Senegalese Defender Turned Down At PSL Club
A Senegalese international defender has gone back home, after failing to sign with the PSL team he has been training with.
Mor Diouf, the former SuperSport United defender who scored a cracker of a goal against Wayne Sandilands during the goalkeeper’s time with Mamelodi Sundowns, has been training with Highlands Park.
As things stand, the Lions of the North look destined for promotion to the PSL. Owen da Gama’s team need only four points from their remaining six matches of the 2017/18 NFD campaign to secure automatic promotion to the PSL.
Diouf has confirmed that he is no longer training with the team.
“I have not been signed. I’m in Senegal now,” the 29-year-old centre-back confirmed to the Siya crew.
Diouf spent three years with Matsatsantsa from 2012 to 2015. He first arrived in the PSL in 2009, when he joined Maritzburg United from Dakar-based AS Douanes FC.
