Newly-promoted Sekhukhune United could be set to complete their 11th signing in this transfer window, with a defender who has been released by his club becoming the latest target for Babina Noko.
Having already signed 10 players for the 2021/22 season, Sekhukhune coach MacDonald Makhubedu and his technical team are still keen on reinforcing the squad for the team’s first season in the top-flight, with the aim to bolster the side in the left-back position.
The team has been assessing former Black Leopards defender Siyabonga Zulu, while veteran defender Onismor Bhasera has also been targeted, as reported in edition 1231 of Soccer Laduma.
News reaching the Siya crew is that Cheslyn Jampies has become the latest target for Sekhukhune after being released from Baroka FC.
Jampies and Jemondre Dickens were released from Bakgaga for allegedly failing to report on time for the team’s pre-season training after returning from their off-season break.
Sekhukhune are scheduled to begin the 2021/22 DStv Premiership season with a match against Chippa United at home on August 21.
