Polokwane Slap R6m Pricetag On RamaG
Rodney Ramagalela Has A Big Pricetag At Polokwane City
Polokwane City have no intention of letting their in-form striker, Rodney Ramagalela, leave the club unless a substantial transfer fee is stumped up by any potential buyer.
‘RamaG’ has scored 19 goals since the start of the 2016/17 Absa Premiership season for City, outscoring every other striker in the division in terms of league goals, winning numerous awards for his performances along the way.
Given his form, the Siya crew has been informed that there has been interest in the 29-year-old’s signature, and that – as reported in this week’s issue of Soccer Laduma – there have been enquiries into the player’s availability.
But according to the source, City have slapped a price tag of around R6 million on the player’s signature, ruling out most of the league because of financial constraints, and their head coach, Bernard Molekwa, has previously stated that the player will be with City until, at least, the end of the 2017/18 season.
The crew will keep an eye on the current top scorer’s situation, although it does seem unlikely that anything will happen for the 29-year-old in the current January transfer window.
