The names of the German suitors interested in an Orlando Pirates striker have been revealed to the Siya crew after the news was broken on the Soccer Laduma website last month.
It was reported in September that 17-year-old Lyle Foster impressed during his time with the U20 South African national team when he went on to help the team defeat England 2-1 in the United Kingdom.
When the player returned back home to Mzansi, he gained promotion to the Bucs’ first team and also left his mark in Europe.
In issue number 1044 of Soccer Laduma, sources have since revealed that the German clubs who were said to be impressed with the young striker, are Borussia Dortmund and Werder Bremen, with the two clubs currently monitoring the progress of Foster.
Following the player’s promotion to Soweto giants’ first team on September 07, Foster subsequently made his official debut a week later in an Absa Premiership encounter against Maritzburg United.
With Foster having signed a professional PSL contract with the Buccaneers, any interested suitor will have to table an impressive offer to Pirates, should they want to land the player’s services.
The player has made three appearances thus far in the Absa Premiership campaign, looking to continue his progression in South Africa’s top flight and it remains to be seen whether the likes of Dortmund and Bremen will look to approach management at the Soweto giants for the player’s signature in the upcoming transfer window in January next year.
