Rendani Ndou is proving his worth at Polokwane City following a trying spell where it looked like the veteran striker would part ways with the Limpopo-based outfit.

Reports surfaced that Ndou was on his way out of the club when he along with teammates, Tshepo Tema and Randy Ngobe, were left out in the cold as they did not form part of Coach Bernard Molekwa’s plans. However, it was Siya sources that revealed the club could be looking at retaining the services of the 30-year-old.
The Crew further reported that Rise and Shine were looking at handing the veteran striker a two extension which would see him remain at the club until 2020.
Ndou had been with City for three years and now sources understand that the deal was handed to the striker with the player having seemingly found a new lease on life and doing well.

“Ndou is our player and he has done well for the team. He is focused on doing well for the team and for himself. He has become one of the best players at Polokwane City and the club has done well in keeping him here,” said the Siya source.
Ndou’s brace was crucial in helping Polokwane City to send Orlando Pirates crashing out of the Telkom Knockout Cup early last month. He further scored in the TKO clash against Bloemfontein Celtic to force the game to penalties where City eventually lost out to Siwelele.
