English Premier League giants, Manchester United are expected to make an official announcement about their new U23 assistant coach.
It was reported in English media yesterday that Neil Wood and Quinton Fortune are set to be placed in charge of the U23 setup at the Red Devils, pending an official announcement by the club.
Fortune is expected to serve as assistant coach to Wood in the upcoming 2019/20 campaign.
Fortune was previously the assistant to Head Coach Stuart Baxter at Bafana Bafana, having worked alongside the Englishman during the 2018 FIFA World Cup and the 2019 qualifiers.
Baxter also attempted to rope Fortune back in to the setup for the current Africa Cup Of Nations competition, however he was unavailable for the role.
Now, the 42-year-old will be starting a new chapter of his professional coaching career, with United expected to make an official announcement about their former midfielder being named U23 assistant coach.
