In one of the ways to reinforce their squad for a return to the PSL, Black Leopards are believed to have reached an agreement for the move of a former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder.
The Limpopo outfit is believed to have lined up Chris Matombo, who has been plying his trade overseas, as one of the players to strengthen the squad ahead of their 2018/19 PSL campaign.
As reported by the Siya crew earlier this year, Matombo helped Qormi FC to win promotion from the First Division to the Premier Division in Malta, while also making notable progress in reviving his career.
As confirmed by sources in the know, the 24-year-old is likely to appear in the colours of Leopards in the new season.
Leopards also have former Orlando Pirates defender Ayanda Gcaba on the list of their potential targets, while former Polokwane City players Thabiso Semenya, Thapelo Tshilo and Donald Mokondelela have been spotted at the team’s training.
Furthermore, former Bloemfontein Celtic defender Tlou Molekwane, as well as the ex-Chippa United left back Pentjie Zulu has been spotted at the newly promoted club.
