Ajax Striker Resurfaces At Club
Prince Nxumalo Returns To Training
One of Ajax Cape Town’s strikers has finally reported back to the club after being absent from training for several weeks without notifying management at the Urban Warriors.
It was reported earlier last month that Ajax placed Prince Nxumalo on the transfer list in the current January window, with sources adding that as a result, the player failed to turn up for training on several occasions.
The Urban Warriors reported back to duty last week following the festive period and Nxumalo was still a no-show for training.
Sources indicated that Nxumalo's reason for his late return to camp is due to personal reasons, however, it is yet to be disclosed.
However, the crew has been informed by a source in the know that the striker has since reported back to the club today, where he is set to have a meeting with the management at the Urban Warriors regarding his recent misconduct.
Ajax have since added former Orlando Pirates striker, Tendai Ndoro to their books ahead of the second half of the 2017/18 campaign, providing cover in Mushin Ertugral’s squad as Nxumalo’s exit from the Urban Warriors draws closer.
Now, it remains to be seen what decision will be made regarding the 27-year-old’s immediate future at the Mother City-based club.
