PSL Club Changes Open Door For Next Coach Exit?

Following the arrival of new owners at Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, the Siya crew has been informed that changes will be made in the technical team.

According to information given to the Siya crew, TTM considered parting ways with head coach Joel Masutha while Lawrence Mulaudzi was still the owner of the club, but financial constraints made it difficult for any changes to be made in that position.

Owen da Gama was a target for the club, while Clinton Larsen was also considered, but the club was unable to make any changes while they were struggling financially and in the process of selling to new owners.

Masutha has been under tremendous pressure at the helm of TTM, registering just one victory in 14 matches and currently above bottom of the table Black Leopards on goal difference.

Word reaching the Siya crew is that Masutha does not have much time on his hands, as the new owners are determined to see the team move up the standings.

According to a source, the new owners are looking to bring in someone new and will soon be giving Masutha a mandate to let him know how many games he has to turn things around. Talk is that management will be meeting with Masutha and his technical to discuss the team's poor results.

There are serious concerns within management over how the team has been performing and changes could be made sooner rather than later, as they look to save the team’s top-flight status and then build on from there next season.

TTM were beaten 1-0 by Bloemfontein Celtic over the weekend, their fifth straight defeat in the DSTV Premiership.
