A PSL coach has come under increased pressure after a string of disappointing results for his team as matches come thick and fast for the side.
With Baroka still recovering from yet another loss from their match this past weekend, the team has also been finalising preparations for Wednesday’s match against Free State Stars.
Bakgaga’s 2-1 loss against Orlando Pirates on Saturday was the team’s fourth of the season as they are now joint with Ea Lla Koto on the highest number of losses by any team thus far in the current campaign.
The Limpopo team’s head coach Wedson Nyirenda has become increasingly under pressure for turning the team’s fortunes, according to sources close to the club.
Baroka have won only one match as they have collected just five points from a possible 21 from the matches they have played so far this season.
Nyirenda, who is the former Zambia senior national team coach, is being supported by the club in attempting to improve the team’s results, according to sources.
The match between Baroka and Stars has been scheduled for the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday evening.
