New Striker Signed, Talent To Be On The Move?
Preparations For The New Season In Full Swing At Baroka
News reaching the Siya crew is that Baroka FC’s Talent Chawapiwa could be on the move, following the arrival of a new striker at the club.
The Limpopo outfit is inundated with enquiries for Chawapiwa, following his impressive first PSL season, according to sources in the know.
The 25-year-old Zimbabwean midfielder, who joined Bakgaga from FC Platinum in July last year, is said to be on the radar of a number of PSL clubs who are keen on signing him for the new season.
In the meantime, Baroka have strengthened their team for next season with the addition of Ivorian striker, Armand Gnanduillet to the squad.
The 26-year-old, who has already played for clubs in France and England in his career, is a former Ivorian youth international.
“Baroka have been in search of a good foreign player as a possible replacement for Talent. There is interest in Talent from a number of clubs. Baroka will consider selling Talent if they feel that the new foreign player is good enough,” said the source.
As reported by the Siya crew, former Kaizer Chiefs striker Wedson Nyirenda, who has resigned from his position as the coach of Zambia’s senior national team, is expected to be unveiled as the new man in charge of Baroka for next season.
