A Ghanaian striker has landed in South Africa and is looking to join a club in the Absa Premiership for the 2019/20 season.
With SuperSport United having some of their top strikers linked with other clubs during this transfer window, the Tshwane outfit has invited Ghanaian forward Shafiu Mumuni for a trial with the team.
Although SuperSport’s CEO, Stan Matthews, has told the Siya crew that the club does not want to sell any more players, following reports linking Bradley Grobler with Orlando Pirates, the club is looking to add more firepower to coach Kaitano Tembo’s team, as another striker from the side Evans Rusike has been linked with Mamelodi Sundowns.
Mumuni, who is currently on the books of Ghanaian club Ashanti Gold SC, has arrived at Matsatsantsa for his trial. The 24-year-old scored eight goals for Ashanti Gold last season.
