The Siya crew has learnt that Rise and Shine have added Milton Nienov to their technical team. The Brazilian goalkeeper trainer, who has been working under Clinton Larsen and Mandla Ncikazi at Golden Arrows, has resurfaced at the Limpopo outfit.

“Milton Nienov, who has been with Golden Arrows, is now at Polokwane City. He is with the team under their coach, Bernard Molekwa,” said the source.

On further investigation, the Siya crew has gathered that Nienov parted ways with Arrows two weeks ago. The Brazilian has been working with South Africa football teams for close to 10 years.

The 49-year-old joins Polokwane in his second stint, as he previously worked with the team between 2014 and 2015 under Boebie Solomons and Kostadin Papic respectively.

Nienov has previously also worked under Steve Komphela, now the head coach of Kaizer Chiefs, Gordon Igesund and Owen da Gama, among other top and experienced Mzansi coaches, during his time with Free State Stars.
