Polokwane City are currently trying to tie down their top marksman Rodney Ramagalela ahead of the new season.
Rise and Shine narrowly avoided the play-offs at the end of the season and the Crew can confirm that the Limpopo-based outfit is trying to hang onto their prized striker with a long-term contract.

“The team is yet to announce and confirm any of the new signings as the focus is to negotiate the contracts of existing players and holding on to players who have done well for the team,” said a source.
Ramagalela ended the season as the club’s top goalscorer as well as the PSL’s joint top goalscorer alongside Percy Tau.
Meanwhile, the crew reported previously that a number of PSL clubs have been lurking around the 29-year-old striker with the likes of Bidvest Wits said to be among the clubs interested in the talisman.
However, City are determined to hang onto their main frontman after they slapped a R6-million price tag on the player ahead of the 2017/18 season to ward off the likes of Orlando Pirates who were interested in the striker at the time.
