Polokwane City will end their pre-season preparations in Johannesburg during the last week of July.
The Limpopo-based side has been hard at work preparing for the upcoming season and have played some friendlies behind closed doors. The club’s new coach, Jozef Vukusic has been working with both the new and old players in ensuring the team is ready for the season ahead.
As reported by the Siya crew, experienced players such as the team’s captain Jabulani Maluleke and Rodney Ramagalela have reported for duty despite reports linking them to other clubs.
Siya sources close to the Limpopo side have confirmed that the City will conduct the remainder of their pre-season preparations behind closed.
“The club is hard at work. The new coach is getting to know the players and does not want any distractions as he works with players,” said the source.
The club will, however, conclude their pre-season in Johannesburg where the media will be allowed access to players and coaches.
