Dikwena Open Up Talks For Chiefs Man
Platinum Stars are believed to have opened up talks with Kaizer Chiefs regarding the potential signing of midfielder, Enocent Mkhabela.
The 28-year-old has been with Dikwena, his former club, since January after he completed a loan move from the Amakhosi in search of game time, however, Stars are known to be keen on making his time there permanent.
Mkhabela is still waiting for his Chiefs debut due to injuries and his failure to get past the likes of Willard Katsande, Lucky Baloyi and others at the Naturena. It seems there is no future for him at the club after Katsande put pen to paper on a new long-term deal.
With that in mind, Stars are keen to try and land ‘Eno’ ahead of next season and as reported in this week’s issue of Soccer Laduma, they have already got some preliminary talks underway.
It remains to be seen whether Mkhabela will be able to complete a return to his former club ahead of the 2016/17 campaign, although Chiefs will be eager to try and offload him if the right offer is put forward.
