Mamelodi Sundowns will lock horns with Golden Arrows this evening, although it remains to be seen who will be leading the bench.
Local media has been filled with reports of Pitso Mosimane’s assault allegations, with it recently been confirmed to the Siya crew from an unnamed official at Sundowns, that the reports are indeed true and the club is currently dealing with the matter.
According to reports, a charge was laid against Mosimane for assaulting a security official On Sunday, following the Brazilians 3-3 draw against AmaZulu FC at the King Zwelithini Stadium.
However, the Brazilians will be in action once again this evening in KwaZulu-Natal, although questions were raised regarding whether or not Head Coach Mosimane will be included on the bench this evening, while the matter of assault is being dealt with.
Indications are that Sundowns will issue a statement on the matter, with sources indicating that management at Masandawana are unhappy with the current circumstances.
However, with it currently being a legal case, indications are that Mosimane may need to resolve the matter in court if the charges and it remains to be seen whether Sundowns will open up about the matter.
