News reaching the Siya Crew is that Orlando Pirates could throw in Abbubaker Mobara as a possible option in a player plus cash or swap deal in the effort to land the signature of Bafana Bafana international Thulani Hlatshwayo.
Pirates have emerged as top admirers of the 27-year-old defender with reports linking him to the Soweto giants. The Siya crew also reported that sources had revealed that the veteran defender Ayanda Gcaba could be used in a potential swap deal that would see Tyson don the famous black and white of Orlando Pirates.

Now sources close to the Soweto giants have further revealed that the versatile midfielder Mobara could be another name thrown into the mix as Pirates attempt to lure the defender into their ranks.
“Mobara is a quality player and he could be a great addition to Wits. Pirates could use him to try and bring Thulani over as he is still young and both are quality players, so a deal of this nature would make more sense,” said the source.
“His greatest asset is that he can play throughout the midfield both in offensive and defensive positions and in traditional defensive positions as well,” added the source.
