Why A Bucs Target Won’t Get A Chance To Further Impress
Pirates Take Aim At Arrows In Pursuit Of League Title
An Orlando Pirates target is unlikely to get a chance to further impress the Soweto giants in their match this weekend.
Following their exit from the Nedbank Cup, after losing their Last 16 match against Cape Town City on Wednesday, Pirates have shifted focus to their Absa Premiership campaign.

The league match this weekend against Golden Arrows takes place at the Princess Magogo Stadium.
As previously reported, Golden Arrows' Kudakwashe Mahachi is one of the players whose names are believed to be at the top of Bucs’ targets for the new season.
The 24-year-old Zimbabwean winger is expected to leave Abafana Bes’thende at the end of the season, with his destination believed to be Pirates.
While Mahachi would have been happy to play against Pirates on Saturday for a chance to further impress the team with his football skills, he is unlikely to feature as he is still recovering from an injury.
Mahachi has been a notable absentee from Arrows’ last three matches, due to the injury setback.
In their last 15 matches in the league, Bucs and Arrows have had 37 goals scored between them. Bucs have won 11 of those matches, while Arrows have won only two.
