Orlando Pirates is expected to make a decision on the future of Mahlatse Makudubela at the club.
The midfielder, who joined Pirates after a stint with Golden Arrows where he was on loan from Platinum Stars, has struggled for game time at Bucs since joining the Soweto giants for the 2016/17 season.
As reported in edition 1016 of Soccer Laduma in March, Makudubela has been linked with an exit from the Pirates camp. Sources have indicated that he could be affected by the changes expected by the club at the end of the season.
In their injury update as issued two weeks ago, the Buccaneers confirmed that Makudubela had been undergoing rehabilitation for the injury he picked in training.
According to a report that appeared on Bucs’ official website, the 27-year-old suffered a strain in his quad muscle after a tackle during training.
