Belgian Club Keen To Take Tau From Brighton

Percy Tau Is Wanted By Royale

By Joe Crann - Jul 19, 2018 05:35 PM @YesWeCrann
Percy Tau’s move to Brighton & Hove Albion is expected to be finalised in the coming days, and a Belgian club is eager to land the player on loan and help them push for promotion.

The Siya crew recently reported that there was a chance that Tau – who will struggle to get a work permit to play in England – could be sent out on loan to Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, who are a sister club to Brighton due to the fact that they have the same owner.

Now, with Tau having touched down in England to complete his medical and finalise his move to the Seagulls, Siya sources have suggested that RUSG have shown a real interest in trying to bring him on board as they try to mount a serious title challenge in the upcoming season.

That move would be one that would be mutually beneficial for both Brighton and RUSG, however, it remains to be seen what Tau’s thoughts would be with regards to making a loan move into the Belgian second division.

The reigning Absa Premiership Footballer of the Year has attracted plenty of interest from clubs around Europe over the last 18 months following his stellar performances for Mamelodi Sundowns, and it seems unlikely that RUSG are the only club that would be keen to take him on loan once his pending move to England finally goes through.

@blackmeteor,UNFORTUNATELY!! THERE ARE A NUMBER OF PLAYERS FROM THE PSL WHO TRIED AND FAILED TO ACQUIRE WORK PERMIT IN UK, THE LIKES OF ANDILE JALI, MUSONA. PLAYERS LIKE KG DIKGACOI ARE INDIVIDUALS WHO LANDED EARLIER IN UK BEFORE NEW WORK PERMIT WAS IMPLEMENTED, DO YOU REMEMB ER THE LIKES OF MARK FISH, PHIL MASINGA AND OTHERS, AND THE QUESTION IS, HOW IS HE GOING TO GET THOSE POINTS WERE EARLIER ILLUSTRATED BY THE EDITOR TO ACQUIRE WORKING PERMIT IN THE UK, HOW OLD WILL HE BE THEN?

@fofos The majority of our PSL clubs will struggle in the Belgian Second Division. Only our top 5 will be able to live there, so it would not be a step down for Percival and he will still be the top-dog. As I said definitely not a long-term proposition.

If this is a way to buy time in order to get his work permit, he should perhaps swallow his pride and go for it......but only if he has this in writing........... long term it sux big time.

It is always the the case with the EPL they buy our players and send them to the Championship side. Similar fate suffered by Dickgacoi. Worst of it all KG and Rantie gained promotion and they were sent off to lower division again.
