Tau Touches Down In Belgium

Percy Tau may well be edging closer to finding out where he could be playing his football in 2018/19, and it is thought that he has now arrived in Belgium.
The 24-year-old Bafana Bafana international recently completed a big-money move to Brighton & Hove Albion in the English Premier League, however, is being sent out on loan due to the fact that he is unable to obtain a work permit to play in England.
It was previously reported that Belgian second division outfit, Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, were interested in signing him on a loan basis for the season and that their attempts could be aided by the fact that both RUSG and Brighton have the same owner, Tony Bloom.
According to Siya sources, the former Mamelodi Sundowns man touched down in Europe in the last few days after obtaining his Schengen visa and is currently taking a look around the facilities at RUSG in Brussels as he considers making the move.
The club is eager to try and seal promotion into the Belgian top flight this season, and see Tau as the perfect player to come on board and help them in their quest to do so.
With around three weeks left until the Belgian transfer window shuts, RUSG have time to try and make the deal happen, although it remains to be seen if the player and his representatives will be happy with the reigning Absa Premiership Footballer of the Season heading into Belgium’s second tier.
