Tau Arrives In London, Medical Pending

Percy Tau Is Believed To Have Landed At Brighton & Hove Albion

By Soccer Laduma - Jul 18, 2018 10:38 AM

Mamelodi Sundowns’ Percy Tau has landed in London, in anticipation of his transfer to Brighton & Hove Albion, where he is expected to complete his medical today.

Sundowns confirmed last week that President Patrice Motsepe gave management instructions to complete Tau’s transfer to the English Premier League side after he apologised to the club for being absent from training.

It was subsequently revealed to the Siya crew on Monday, July 16, that Sundowns and Brighton had agreed to a deal in principle.

It has now been confirmed that Tau flew out of Johannesburg yesterday and arrived in England this morning. He is expected to undergo his medical today and if all goes according to plan, will conclude his transfer to Europe.

Should all go well, the football fraternity can expect an official announcement within the next few days.

Brighton is also expected to confirm whether the 24-year-old has secured a work permit in the United Kingdom or whether he will be put on loan to another European club.

@makhanda-mendu me, why Khune was charged with stupidity when he wanted more money from family business? Why Kaizer charged a player who was fighting for his rights?

@setlaboswana what respect are u on about..? Bcz as far as i c this was other way around. Contract is no a suicidal act.. It's agreement btwn two parties..! That means both side have to abide on. If one fills that some how their rights had been violeted they have a right to express their views..! Tau chose to stay away bcz Patricia had reversed on his promise to the boy. So Tau had done what Patricia understands well since he is a mine share holder..!

@spha10ntshangase, I agree that Tau was given too much respect by Downs management, but disagree with you by suggesting Tau can hurt the same management who gave him too much respect at the first place, by agreeing a loan move to fau, in fact, that will be suicidal.

@spha10ntshangase I'm not comparing but no matter how strong is your management you can't hold any player who wants more money somewhere else or who wants to make his name in Europe
