It has since been revealed to the Siya crew that the player is still not present in training with the Sundowns first team, indicating that Tau and his camp are still pushing for a move to English Premier League side, Brighton and Hove Albion
Sundowns and Brighton are yet to come to an agreement regarding a transfer fee, with reports recently revealing that the English club tabled an offer of around R50 million for the 24-year-old’s services.
However, Masandawana are yet to confirm whether a deal has been agreed to, although with Tau still absent from training, indications are that talks are still taking place behind the scenes, with the player still eager to make the move away from the Brazilians.
Sundowns will travel away to face AS Togo Port in the CAF Champions League on July 17 and it remains to be seen whether Tau will make the move away from Sundowns before the Brazilians return to action.
