An Orlando Pirates young star has signed a deal with a club abroad as he prepares for the next phase of his career.
In edition 1093 of Soccer Laduma, the Siya crew reported on a potential move for Lyle Foster to France, with sources indicating that French Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco have been keen on the player.
News reaching the Siya crew is that the French outfit has signed the player after being impressed with his performances in training.
According to sources, Foster was recently in France for another trial with the side and has impressed the team with his work-rate in training.
“Lyle Foster has signed with AS Monaco. It’s a five-year deal. The agreement is that he will leave in January for the club. For now, he has been given time to come back to South Africa to finish the year before he leaves in January,” said the source.
Foster played for Pirates’ MultiChoice Diski Challenge team this past weekend as they lost 2-1 to Bloemfontein Celtic on Sunday afternoon.
