Mamelodi Sundowns are believed to have offered Orlando Pirates the services of one of their out-of-favour defenders.
The Soweto giants have made a number of changes to their squad ahead of the new 2017/18 season, after parting ways with the likes of Brighton Mhlongo and adding the likes of Wayne Sandilands and Thamsanqa Sangweni to their books.
However, indications are that Pirates are still in the market to bolster their squad and as reported in this week’s edition of Soccer Laduma, Sundowns have offered the Soweto giants their right back, Siyanda Zwane.
As previously reported by the Siya crew, Asavela Mbekile is also being linked with a move to the Bucs with Siya sources indicating that both Mbekile and Zwane has together been offered to Pirates ahead of Sandiland’s move to the Gauteng-based club last week.
However, Zwane is still contracted to Masandawana, with unconfirmed reports indicating that the player still has two more years left on his contract with the Chloorkop-based club which means that, should Pirates be interested in the defender, the Soweto giants will have to table an offer to the Brazilians in the coming weeks.
