An Orlando Pirates transfer target has continued to impress with his fine performances, with his goal for his junior national team.
With the Buccaneers appearing to be keen on further strengthening their squad, Malawian youngster Peter Banda has emerged as one of the targets for the Soweto giants.
Bucs are seemingly chasing the striker with a view of adding him to coach Milutin Sredojevic’s team, as reported. Having recently left Bucs, after attending a trial with the side, the 18-year-old went on to impress with his performance for the Malawi U23 team.
Banda was on the score-sheet as Malawi U23s eliminated the Botswana U23 team from the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers with a 3-2 aggregate score line.
The match in which Banda scored ended in a 1-1 draw. It was played in Blantyre, Malawi, on Tuesday.
