Orlando Pirates are believed to be the latest PSL club to show interest in Free State Stars’ Sinethemba Jantjie.
Mamelodi Sundowns are known to have admiration for the winger, with the club’s interest in the player already been reported by the Siya crew.
Siya sources have confirmed that the interest in Jantjie is growing. The 28-year-old has peaked in form at the right time, as Stars are trying to move away from the PSL’s relegation zone.
In the recent league game for Ea Lla Koto and Pirates, where the Bethlehem outfit came out as the 3-2 winners on the weekend, Jantjie produced a Man of the Match performance with his scintillating runs down the wing.
The former Mbombela United player created the second goal for Stars against Bucs, which was converted by Paulus Masehe and came close to getting his name on the score sheet, only to be denied by the crossbar.
Sources have informed the Siya crew that Pirates have shown an interest in Jantjie and now Bucs join the likes of Sundowns in their interest for the winger.
As reported in edition 1013 of Soccer Laduma, Sundowns have been monitoring Jantjie’s progress at Stars and it seems as though they are not the only side who have been impressed with his performances.
Following his return from injury, Jantjie has established himself as a key figure in Coach Serame Letsoaka’s team, as the Bethlehem-based outfit battle their way out of the relegation zone.
Soccer Laduma has also reported that sources have confirmed that the Buccaneers took note of Jantjie’s outstanding game against them and have made unofficial enquiries into the player’s availability.
It is believed that Bucs will keep monitoring the player and track his progress in the remaining games of the season. Get the latest Soccer Laduma newspaper for more on the story for Jantjie and the interest in him.
