Orlando Pirates midfielder Austin Muwowo could be sent on loan next season, as part of the squad changes likely to take place at the club.
The Zambian international midfielder has had an unsuccessful spell with Pirates during his first ever Absa Premiership season, after making only two appearances so far in the 2019/20 campaign.
Indications are that the 23-year-old, who was signed by the Buccaneers from Zambia club Nkana FC in July last year, having come out of a season where he was voted the best player in the country, is likely to follow in the footsteps of Justice Chabalala and Tebogo Tlolane out of the Soweto giants on loan.
Chippa United, who are currently under former Pirates caretaker coach Rulani Mokwena, are believed to be one of the clubs that could be interested in the services of the talented Zambian player.
Muwowo’s countryman and Pirates teammate Justin Shonga is one of the players who has also been linked with a move away from the club, with indications that the forward is closely monitored by clubs in Mzansi as well as abroad.
