Striker Option For Bucs?
Orlando Pirates Linked With Striker
Moeketsi Sekola’s name has been mentioned among those linked with Orlando Pirates.
The Buccaneers are said to be monitoring the striker as his progress improves at Chippa United this season.
Sekola is spending the 2017/18 season with the Port Elizabeth club on a deal from Highlands Park. As reported in edition 1040 of Soccer Laduma, Bucs are not the only club keeping a close eye on the Botshabelo-born player.
“The progress of Moeketsi Sekola at Chippa United is being monitored at Orlando Pirates. Pirates are admirers of the player. They have been following him for some time – from the time he was at Free State Stars. You must remember that Pirates and Chippa have a good relationship, so you cannot rule out a possibility of a deal there.
“He is a player that is being monitored by a few other clubs in the PSL, as they are aware of his contract situation with Highlands Park, who are in the NFD,” said the source.
The 28-year-old was previously also linked with the likes of Mamelodi Sundowns, Bloemfontein Celtic, Golden Arrows and Bidvest Wits, while still on the books of Ea Lla Koto.
