Bucs Target Identified, Chippa Won’t Comment?
Orlando Pirates Linked With Chippa United Winger
Orlando Pirates are believed to have identified a potential new signing for the upcoming transfer window from Chippa United.
Recent media reports indicate that one of the players targeted for a move to Pirates at the end of the season is Paseka Mako from Chippa.
Mako is believed to have impressed the Buccaneers with his performances and high work-rate for the Chilli Boys this season.
According to reports, the player is expected to complete a move to Bucs at the end of the season as coach Milutin Sredojevic and his technical team at the Soweto giants are looking to strengthen their squad for the new season.
Having signed Diamond Thopola and Phetso Maphanga from Chippa in January‚ Pirates are expected to get into an agreement for one or more players with the Eastern Cape outfit yet again, at the end of the current campaign.
Contacted for comment, Chippa’s Peter Koutroulis distanced himself from reports linking Mako with a move to Pirates.
“I don’t know. I don’t know anything,” said Koutroulis before directing the Siya crew’s enquiries elsewhere.
Meanwhile, Chippa are preparing for their last game of the season, which will be against Polokwane City at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.
