Bucs Midfielder Nearing Exit, Chippa Move Looming?
Orlando Pirates Likely To Part Ways With Midfielder
News reaching the Siya crew is that Orlando Pirates midfielder, Mahlatse Makudubela, is likely to leave the club for Chippa United.
It was revealed by the Siya crew in September last year that Makudubela’s name had been bandied about among those of players expected to leave Bucs. The former Platinum Stars player has struggled for game time in his first season with Pirates, since joining the club after a stint with Golden Arrows.
An indication from inside the Bucs camp is that the 27-year-old Vosloorus-born player is likely to leave, with Chippa believed to be a possible destination for him.
“He is going to Chippa. It’s kept under wraps between the parties involved for now. No one will go on record to talk about it as yet,” said the source.
It is yet to be confirmed if Makudubela will go out on loan or secure a permanent move to the Chilli Boys.
