Bucs Lead Race For Mlambo
Orlando Pirates Lead Race For Midfielder Xolani Mlambo
Orlando Pirates are leading the race for the services of Xola Mlambo, according to sources.
It was reported by the Siya crew earlier that both Mamelodi Sundowns and Pirates have approached Bidvest Wits enquiring about the midfielder.
As confirmed by sources, the two clubs have put their offers forward, with the view of signing the 26-year-old from the defending league champions. It has now emerged that Bucs are leading the race to secure the signature of one of Mzansi’s most sought-after players, who has also recently been linked to Kaizer Chiefs.
The Buccaneers have been the admirers of Mlambo for some time, with the club now keen on adding him to Milutin Sredojevic’s squad that is attempting to challenge for the league title this season.
It was reported by the Siya crew in May last year, edition 1025 of Soccer Laduma, that Pirates have been showing interest in the talented player. It now seems that the club could try and land him in the current January transfer window period.
