The Siya crew can reveal that Orlando Pirates veteran midfielder Issa Sarr is close to an exit from the Soweto giants.
According to sources close the 32-year-old, the Senegalese midfielder is likely to make his way out of the club after falling down the pecking order having made only two league starts in the last campaign.
Siya sources have indicated that Limpopo side, Polokwane City are favourites to land the defensive hard man.
Soccer Laduma reported previously that Sarr was likely to return to his former side Platinum Stars however, Dikwena have since been relegated to the National First Division.
“He is one of the players whose experience is attractive for City,” revealed a source.
"The club wants to do well in the upcoming season and they want experienced players to be part of the team,” added the source.
Meanwhile, the crew understands that Rise and Shine could look to add Sarr to provide some defensive cover and compliment the experience of veteran players such as Jabu Maluleke and Zimbabwean Dominic Chungwa.
