An Orlando Pirates defender is linked with an exit from the club due to a lack of game time in the team this season.
According to sources close to the Soweto giants, the club could be set to send Abel Mabaso out on loan in the January transfer window, as reported in edition 1090 of Soccer Laduma.

Since his move from Chippa United at the end of last season, Mabaso has found the going tough in terms of breaking into Head Coach Milutin Sredojevic’s team, and is yet to feature in any of the Serbian mentor’s match day squads so far this season.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns player could be included on the list of players to be sent on loan by Pirates in January when the club will be making squad adjustments, according to sources.

“Abel Mabaso is likely to be loaned in January. Pirates could send him on loan so that he could get game-time if he is still not playing at the club until the end of the first round of the season. A move back to Chippa could be one of the options for him,” said he source.
Mabaso made a whopping 26 starts for Chippa in the league last season. The 27-year-old can play either as a right-back or in midfield.
