Pirates To Follow Sundowns Into Foreign Pre-Season?

Orlando Pirates Could Take Their Pre-Season Outside Of The Country

By Soccer Laduma - Jun 06, 2018 03:14 PM
Word reaching the Siya crew is that Orlando Pirates could mix up their pre-season preparations this season by going on tour outside of South Africa for the first time.

The Buccaneers are currently undergoing a resurgence at the club as Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic took them back into the CAF Champions League in his first season, causing fans of the club to have high hopes for the 2018/19 campaign.

Now, according to Siya sources, there are talks to potentially have camps both inside and outside of Mzansi when the team reconvenes to start preparing for the upcoming season.

Mamelodi Sundowns have previously opted to take part of their pre-season outside of South Africa’s borders, and suggestions are that the Buccaneers are considering following suit as they look to get their players in peak condition for the challenges ahead as they delve back into continental football.

Bucs are due back for testing and the start of their pre-season on June 18th, with an announcement also expected in the coming weeks regarding their playing squad for next season.

@wash & wear LOL your employer does not have to build a tombstone for you should you die. We all must make provision for that. Senzo was a star and a Bafana player, it was his responsibility to ensure that there is insurance for that and for his children. As a bread winner, he should have taken another insurance for the parents that he was helping. It will be a good gesture for Pirates to help but you cant curse them if they don't do it. Pirates lost big time when Senzo died, and we suffered lots of defeat after his death.
