Jele Committed To Pirates
Orlando Pirates committed to Happy Jele's future at the club
Reliable sources have informed the Siya crew that Orlando Pirates veteran defender Happy Jele remains committed to the Soweto giants.
The 31-year-old has recently been in good form and recently helped guide his team to a 3-1 victory over rivals Kaizer Chiefs.
According to sources, no contract extension has tabled by Pirates and that Jele has not yet signed a deal that would keep him at Bucs beyond 2018, but the club has assured him that his future is secured
“Pirates have done everything to reassure Jele that his future at the club is safe and that all contract talks will be held in July. The player himself is happy with the arrangements and is focused on playing out the season,” said the source.
“Jele has expressed that he wants to remain at Pirates and is not eager to play anywhere else. He is now playing regularly and enjoying his football and he wants to keep this up at Pirates,” added the source.
The 31-year-old has made nine league appearances with eight starts having netted once against Martizburg United.
