The Soweto giants seem to be making space on their books for any incoming signings, however, the Siya crew has since been informed that they have set their sights on one of City’s key players.
According to the source, Pirates are showing interest in Bafana Bafana international, Ayanda Patosi, who joined the Citizens at the beginning of the 2017/18 season.
The source added that Patosi is currently on Bucs’ radar, as they look to bolster their squad ahead of the new campaign.
Patosi has made 25 appearances in all competitions for City in the 2017/18 campaign, scoring six goals, with two of his goals hitting the back of the net in a Nedbank Cup and Absa Premiership clash against Pirates.
Now, with Pirates seemingly looking to wrap up business early, it remains to be seen whether any negotiations will materialise between the club and City about a potential transfer of Patosi to the Soweto giants.
