Following the confirmation of Emmanuel Letlotlo’s exit from Kaizer Chiefs, another youngster from the Soweto giants is linked with a move.
Baroka FC have confirmed signing Letlotlo from Chiefs on a loan deal. As reported in the latest edition of Soccer Laduma, issue 1080, Baroka have also been keen on Chiefs’ young striker Itumeleng Shopane.
Following his exploits of last season, which saw him walk away with the MultiChoice Diski Shield Player of the Tournament award, Shopane earned himself interested suitors in Baroka.
After returning to Chiefs in January this year from a loan stint with Cape Town All Stars in the NFD, the 21-year-old centre forward was influential in helping Chiefs’ reserve team lift the inaugural MDC Shield trophy.
While the player is believed to have attracted interest from a few other teams in the PSL, Baroka appears to be the club showing serious interest on the player’s services, according to Siya sources in the know.
