It has been confirmed to the Siya crew that Eric Tinkler has officially left Chippa United after his position became untenable.
The crew reported earlier today that, while the players were still in the dark about Tinkler’s future, there was talk that he had exited, something that has now been confirmed.
Vasili Barbis, Tinkler’s representative explained that the Bafana Bafana legend opted to walk away from the job due to non-footballing issues.
Barbis said, “Yes, it’s true. Eric has left Chippa. He didn’t want to deal with the non-footballing issues anymore, and his position became untenable.”
Tinkler will now begin his search for the next chapter in his career as he looks to get back on the coaching ladder.
